Under its “Production of The Synthesized Biofuel Using Various Types Of Waste Oil.” project, Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (Energy Absolute) has developed its own technology for the production of synthesized biofuel oil and phase change materials. With this project, Energy Absolute cements its status as a green leader by becoming a winner at the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) 2024. This illustrious award ceremony was organized by the leading regional NGO, Enterprise Asia.
Currently, the company has a production capacity of 130 tons per day for synthesized biofuel oil and 70 tons per day for phase change materials. The result of the project is that the company can reduce environmental problems and use clean energy as an alternative to environmentally unfriendly fossil fuels.
One of its products, Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) is also versatile and can be used in a variety of applications, including road transportation, marine fleets, rail, power generation, and heating. It is compatible with existing diesel engines and infrastructure, making it an easy and cost-effective alternative to conventional diesel fuel. As companies and governments around the world strive to reduce their carbon footprint and improve air quality, HVO is poised to play a significant role in the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.
According to Biograce V4d, 2014, in the EU, a liter of diesel in transportation and distribution emits GHG emissions at 3.14 kg CO². To minimize the emission caused by mobile combustion, if the mixture of fossil-based and biobased has blended at 7% (a ratio of 93 fossil-based fuel:7 bio-based fuel), the carbon footprint product can cause the emission at 3.014 kg CO² per liter. In summary, with this new product, EU citizens can avoid emissions at 0.126 kg CO² per liter in comparison to conventional diesel consumption.
