FedEx Express (FedEx), a prominent subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s leading express transportation companies, is taking a significant step to enhance its intercontinental services between Vietnam and Singapore, as well as other key markets in Asia, the Middle East, Africa (AMEA), and Europe. Starting October 31, 2023, FedEx will introduce a dedicated B767 freighter flight operating four evenings a week from Ho Chi Minh City, seamlessly connecting Asia and Europe through the FedEx Asia Pacific Hub in Guangzhou, China.
This initiative translates into expedited transit times for exporters shipping from Southern Vietnam – deliveries to Singapore and major Asian markets will take just one business day, and two business days to Europe*.
These new flights bring additional capacity to the table, supplementing the existing five flights to Asia, Europe, and the US, including four daily morning flights through the FedEx South Pacific Hub in Singapore and one evening flight through the Asia Pacific Hub. With a total of nine weekly flights departing from Ho Chi Minh City, FedEx remains committed to supporting businesses in capitalizing on the immense growth opportunities within the region.
