FedEx Wins Two Accolades at HR Asia Awards 2024 in Singapore

Federal Express Corporation, one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, has been recognised as one of the ‘Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2024’ by the HR Asia Awards for two consecutive years. This prestigious recognition underscores the company’s commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture and prioritising employee satisfaction in Singapore. Additionally, FedEx clinched the “Sustainable Workplace” award, highlighting its commitment to promoting a strong sustainability culture and contributing to environmental protection.

The HR Asia Awards are based on an extensive survey evaluating employee engagement, workplace culture, and company practices. This year, FedEx stood out among numerous organisations across the region, demonstrating its dedication to providing an inclusive and supportive environment for employees, as well as its ongoing efforts to engage team members in sustainability activities.

“Winning two prestigious awards from the HR Asia Awards is a powerful testament to our robust corporate culture where employees feel valued and supported,” said Eric Tan, Managing Director of FedEx Singapore. “This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to taking care of our people — who are at the heart of everything we do — and fostering a culture that values environmental responsibility. We believe that a motivated and engaged workforce is essential to our success, and we will continue to invest in team members’ development and well-being. Additionally, we will continue to promote sustainable practices within our business and the communities we serve.”

In 2024, FedEx expanded its initiatives to enhance team member experiences through wellness programmes such as KpopX fitness classes and mental health workshops with the Health Promotion Board, while organising family-friendly events like the FedEx Futsal Cup to strengthen connections among team members and their families.

FedEx has also demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by encouraging team members to make a positive impact in the community. This includes tree-planting and waterway clean-up activities, demonstrating the company’s dedication to environmental stewardship.

In addition to the HR Asia Awards, FedEx received other notable recognitions in 2024, such as the Silver Ribbon Mental Health Award, and was named one of Singapore’s Best Employers by The Straits Times. These accolades further highlight the company’s ongoing commitment to excellence in employee engagement, well-being, and community impact, reinforcing its position as a leader in fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace.
