The Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) 2024 is pleased to honor Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited as an outstanding business that champions sustainable and responsible business practices. Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited (FPT) was among the recipients who were conferred with an award under the Green Leadership category. The company’s SPX Express (Thailand) Sorting Center, a groundbreaking sorting center strategically located in Frasers Property Logistics Park Wangnoi 2.
This center is a record-breaking 73,106 sqm, which became Southeast Asia’s largest for SPX, boosting local jobs (2,000 estimated) and providing a complete logistics infrastructure. The innovative “double cross-dock” design, a Thailand-first, streamlined operations and increased daily parcels processed by 50% for SPX. This empowered Thai businesses with faster deliveries in the e-commerce boom.
As a part of its achievements, the company’s water usage has decreased by 50%, air pollution has been minimized, and electricity consumption has been lowered by using LED lighting. Additionally, the installation of solar panels has reduced electricity costs by 36% and decreased carbon dioxide emissions by 180 tons per year, equivalent to planting 3,500 trees.
FPT has taken great strides in raising the expected conventional standard of sustainability for business operations. Its dedication to becoming a top enterprise has positioned itself as a role model for other corporations, demonstrating how to operate with a focus on long-term sustainability.
