Infinium Robotics Unveils AI Drones for Warehouse Inventory Management

Infinium Robotics, an award-winning logistics technology (Logtech) company, provides patent-pending AI-enabled smart warehouse drones for fully automated stocktaking and inventory management.

Specifically designed to solve manual and tedious stocktaking tasks in a warehouse environment, Infinium Scan’s fully autonomous drone solution enables warehouses to achieve error-free inventory management with minimum effort and improved productivity. Fully automated stocktaking can be conducted for warehouses during night-time or off-peak operational hours, further increasing efficiency for the warehouse operations.

The Infinium Scan smart warehouse drone solution was demonstrated at DHL Supply Chain Malaysia Integrated Logistics Centre, at Shah Alam, Malaysia, in the presence of Minister of Communications and Digital of Malaysia, YB Fahmi Fadzil and Tan Sri Mohamad Salim bin Fateh Din, chairman of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

“Our solution has been used reliably by Fortune 500 companies like Chevron and many others,” said Zhansaya Orazbekova, Business Development Director of Infinium Robotics. “We are glad to be the selected vendor to provide our automated drone solution to DHL Supply Chain to enhance their inventory management processes.”

Delving into the details of the Infinium Scan system, Zhansaya said, “Infinium Scan automates the entire process of stocktaking from the automated scanning of inventory down to each carton box detail and to the production of inventory reports for the warehouse operators. This will allow the warehouse operators to reliably track, manage and optimize their inventories in real-time, and at significantly reduced operational costs and at up to 20X higher speed and up to 100% accuracy. The Infinium Scan drone solution, also improves worker’s safety, which is often put at risk due to the need to stocktake at heights at the warehouse racks and also improves the productivity of warehouses in today’s 24/7 fulfilment environment.”

Infinium Robotics’ Infinium Scan solution also won the Startup Challenge at DHL Asia Pacific’s Innovation Day in 2017.

Expressing delight at this innovative solution supplied by Infinium Robotics, Mario Lorenz, CEO DHL Malaysia, said: “Now, we have autonomous drones powered by AI technology, that significantly improves stock & inventory management. And with a more accurate method of the stock retrieval, our customers get their orders fulfilled faster too.”
