Malaysia eyes 5,000 new jobs in the aerospace industry with the enforcement of the Malaysia Space Board Act 2022 which came into effect January 1 this year. Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Chang Lih Kang said enforcement of the Act is expected to create up to 5,000 high-value jobs in the aerospace industry by the year 2030. He added that the enforcement of the Act would provide more opportunities for industry players, including foreign companies to invest in Malaysia’s aerospace industry.
