Hana Financial Group recently announced the opening of Hana Financial Group Youth IT Academy to foster global IT talent at the St. Regis Hotel in Indonesia in mid-May.
Hana Financial Group Youth IT Academy is a comprehensive IT talent development programme for IT students at the National University of Indonesia and the Bandung Institute of Technology. It includes scholarships worth US$672,175 (IDR 10 billion or 900 million won) over the next 10 years, participation in internships at Hana Bank and NEXT TI in Indonesia, IT training and tours at Hana Financial TI, and providing job opportunities at Hana Financial Group affiliates in Indonesia.
The launch ceremony was held as an event of K-Finance Week in Indonesia 2023 jointly organized by the Financial Supervisory Service and seven Korean financial institutions.
In attendance were Hana Financial Group Chairman Ham Young-joo, Korean Financial Supervisory Service Chairman Lee Bok-hyun, Indonesian National University Dean Badrul Munir, Bandung University of Technology Dean Khairunisa, and 30 student representatives.
