Taiwan’s Tenmax partnered Infobip to address customer retention challenges faced by Indonesian SMEs

Taiwan-based AI Martech firm TenMax announced the launch of a strategic channel partnership with Infobip, a global cloud communications platform, to bring advanced marketing automation and digital transformation solutions to the Indonesian market.

TenMax’s subsidiary in Jakarta, TenMax Indonesia (TMI), will offer Infobip’s full range of omnichannel messaging channels, tools, and solutions for advanced customer engagement to its customer base in Indonesia. TMI will also provide localiSed support for implementation and service.

According to Infobip, Indonesia is a key market for the company, as its solutions are ideal for the specific needs of small to mid-sized companies, which dominate the Indonesian market. In 2020, SMEs accounted for nearly 56% of Indonesia’s business investment and 97% of domestic employment.

Moreover, Indonesia is a growing, youthful, and digitally savvy market. 52% of the country’s 270 million population consists of young people between the ages of 18 and 39, and its digitally native Gen Z spends 8.5 hours a day on their phones, which is two hours more than the APAC average.

Infobip chose to partner with TenMax due to their experienced local engineering team and successful track record working with high-profile clients, such as Gojek, whose Gojek Ads Network (GoGAN), a one-stop digital advertising solution, was supported by TenMax’s AI engineering.

“Infobip’s solutions help lower the barriers to marketing automation, which we believe is crucial in addressing the customer retention challenges face by Indonesian SMEs,” said Jeremy Lin, General Manager of TMI.

He added, “They often have extensive customer lists but struggle to retain customers due to a lack of access to the right tools. Infobip is the perfect match for the Indonesia market, and we are thrilled to partner together.”

“We are delighted about our partnership with TMI and the opportunities it presents for Indonesian businesses. TMI’s deep understanding of the local market and Infobip’s powerful solutions will provide businesses with the essential tools to enhance customer experiences. Together, we are well-positioned to make a positive difference that builds strong customer relationships in Indonesia,” affirmed George Ni, Regional Director of Partnerships and Alliances, APAC at Infobip.
