Bluefin Zhao, managing director of Tencent Cloud International, emphasized Tencent Cloud’s commitment to improving user experience through advanced technology and products since their overseas expansion in 2016. They have continually innovated and expanded their offerings, aiming to be a global leader in cloud platforms, driving AI-enabled digital transformation.
Fred Sun, general manager of strategy at Tencent Cloud International, highlighted their business’s expansion across major regions, with double-digit growth in the international business in the first half of 2023, driven by overseas partners.
Tencent Cloud’s global solutions, spanning infrastructure, technologies, and product services, have accelerated digital transformation across industries. These solutions have been applied worldwide, including immersive innovation solutions, audio and video services, and more.
For example, Tencent Cloud’s immersive innovation solution enables virtual scenarios through cloud rendering, motion capture, and spatial capture technologies. In the financial sector, Tencent Cloud partnered with Bank Neo Commerce (BNC) to address challenges and promote BNC’s distributed digital transformation. In social entertainment, Zepeto improved user experiences with Tencent Cloud’s voice chat functionality.
Tencent Cloud also collaborates with various companies, such as HAGO for AIGC services, Mabang ERP for cross-border e-commerce, DIANXIAOMI for international expansion, and INTSIG Information for intelligent ticket recognition.
The roundtable discussion featured insights on the globalization of multinational enterprises, emphasizing Tencent Cloud’s comprehensive services and MABANG’s end-to-end solution for cross-border e-commerce, bridging technological gaps, and enhancing efficiency.
Tencent Cloud continues to expand its global partner ecosystem, offering abundant resources, tools, and training through the International Partner Academy. They signed strategic agreements with partners like Global Resources Management Sdn. Bhd. (GRM) and Megazone Cloud to enhance cloud computing capabilities and expand their presence in Malaysia and South Korea.
Tencent Cloud’s focus remains on providing global enterprises with Chinese technology services, collaborating with partners to explore and expand in global markets.
